Clemson City Council Meeting set for Sept. 17

The agenda has been released for the Clemson City Council meeting on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018. It starts with a work session at 5pm featuring Pacolet Milliken Developers. Then the regular council meeting will begin at 6:30pm. Among the items on the agenda are a presentation that recognizes the city’s receipt of the 5-Year Award from Tree City USA, a report on the implementation of the Low and No Grant for battery-electric bus and charger acquisition and CATbus ridership report for the first month of the fall semester, consider ATAX Committee recommendations for FY 2018-2019, consider a memorandum of understanding between Pacelot Milliken Enterprises and the City of Clemson, which outlines the responsibilities of the parties in a public-private partnership to construct a new City Park in the PME Planned Development, consider a resolution authorizing and directing the application for grant funding from the Duke Energy Foundation Water Resources Fund, committing a local financial match to the grant, and coordination of grant administration with Pacolet Milliken Enterprises for a new City Park, consider second reading of an ordinance for the Setoff Debt Collection program, consider second reading of an ordinance for proposed text amendment to the Parking Reduction Program and consider a resolution stating that the City of Clemson does not object to the issuance of licenses in accordance with State Law for the Brewery and Restaurant proposed for 403 College Avenue. The meeting is open to the public and takes place in the Council Chamber of Clemson City Hall at 1250 Tiger Boulevard.
