Clemson City Council to meet Nov. 5

The agenda has been released for the Clemson City Council Meeting on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018. At 5:30pm, a work session is planned to discuss Clemson Park and then at 6:30pm is the regular council meeting. According to the agenda, the Clemson City Council will receive a report on the Cochran Road WWTP bid results and adjusted revenues required to fund the project, receive a report from representatives of the Capital Projects Steering Committee regarding advancement of the new Arts Center building, expansion of the Clemson Area African-American Museum, and a third gymnasium with a Community Capital Campaign for partial funding of the projects, receive the summary of FY 2017-2018 Year End Financial Report, discuss the proposed revisions to the Comprehensive Plan Update schedule, consider a resolution for a Lease Supplement Agreement with New Cingular Wireless, PCS, LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company (AT&T) to install small cell communications equipment at 310 North Clemson Avenue within the City of Clemson, consider a request from Hospice of the Foothills Christmas Tree Festival to be included as one of the non-profit agencies allowed to use the electronic message board, consider full funding of a recent request from the Clemson Child Development Center for emergency purchase of a replacement dishwasher and refrigerator from the City’s Community Development Program Income Account for $5,000 in additional funding, consider first reading of a Proposed Text Amendment to Chapter 19, AR Standards for Churches, consider first reading of a Proposed Text Amendment to Chapter 19, AR Standards for Signs, and discuss a change of meeting time and date for City Council regular meeting of Nov. 19, 2018 because the PCMA annual banquet is at 7pm on same day. The meeting is open to the public and takes place in Council Chambers of Clemson City Hall at 1250 Tiger Boulevard.
