Clemson City Police Arrests Two Greenville Men On Multiple Charges

(Seneca, SC)——-The Clemson City Police Department made two arrests last week after a pursuit.

According to a press release, last Thursday evening, a dark colored vehicle, that was reported stolen after both subjects were in custody, was observed by officers driving at a high rate of speed through the downtown area of Clemson with two occupants inside.

Officers attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle refused to pull over and after driving the vehicle to a dead end street, the driver and passenger fled on foot.

One subject was taken into custody soon thereafter while the second subject was arrested the next morning with a firearm on his person.

The second subject arrested also had identification inside a vehicle that was reported stolen out of Greenville County and that vehicle had items inside that had been stolen from other vehicle break-ins that occurred in multiple jurisdictions.

30 year old Vonnie Earl Locklear, Jr. and 22 year old Wallace Curt Wardlaw, both from Greenville, were both charged by Clemson Police and had pending charges from other jurisdictions.
