Clemson Police Department Charges Clemson Man With Criminal Sexual Conduct With A Minor – Second Degree
(Seneca, SC)—————–The Clemson Police Department arrested a Clemson man late last week on charges of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor – 2nd Degree.
The investigation that led to the arrest of 21 year old Roger Thomas Wilson of Clemson began after the Police Department was notified by a School Resource Officer of the alleged incident. After an investigator with the Clemson Police Department met with the Resource Officer and the victim, it was determined that the incident occurred with the city of limits of Clemson.
As the investigation continued and evidence was gathered in the case, it was determined that the inappropriate relationship between Wilson and the victim began when the suspect met the victim at a summer camp last year with the relationship continuing until March of this year, according to Clemson Police Chief Jimmy Dixon.
According to Chief Dixon, the victim was 12 years old when the relationship started.
