Clemson Police looking for Armed Robbers

Clemson Police are investigating two armed robberies that happened at a pair of fast food restaurants. Clemson Police Chief Jimmy Dixon said that the robberies happened over a three day span between May 14-17.  The first armed robbery happened at 10pm on May 14 at the Wendy’s on Highway 123. Two black males, both armed with pistols, walked up to the rear dining room door and forced the employees to lay on the floor as they removed cash from the store safe. The two men then took the employees cell phones and fled the store. The same two men are believed to have robbed the Little Caesar’s in downtown Clemson at 3am on May 17.  The suspects apparently went to the side door, and although only one of the men entered the store, both were armed with pistols and were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money. Nobody has been injured in the robberies. If anyone has any information about these robberies, they are asked to contact Clemson City Police at (864) 624-2000. A cash reward has been offered for information leading to arrest and conviction of the suspects.
