Clemson University Freezes Tuition
In response to COVID-19, Clemson University’s Board of Trustees approved a plan this week to freeze tuition and fees for the 2020-21 academic year for all students, both from in and out of state. A decision on housing and dining fees is to be made in the near future. Earlier this month, the board of trustees authorized more than $17 million in unused housing, dining and parking fees to students for the spring semester. The university previously announced a hiring freeze, reduction in travel expenses and other temporary budget cuts.
