Clemson University Holds Graduation Ceremonies This Week
About 5,000 students will graduate from Clemson University this week. Doctoral commencement is scheduled for 3 o’clock this afternoon at Littlejohn Coliseum, with bachelor’s and master’s degree ceremonies set for Thursday and Friday. No tickets are required, but graduates are asked to limit each to no more than six guests. General parking is available near the coliseum, but drivers should use extra caution due to ongoing expansion and renovation of the basketball facilities.
In other news, Clemson officials say Saturday’s George Strait concert drew a record 90,037 fans — the largest crowd in stadium history — surpassing the previous record of 86,000 set in 1999 when Strait last performed in Death Valley. The Death Valley Nights series continues June 26th and 27th with Morgan Wallen, joined by Brooks & Dunn, Ella Langley, Gavin Adcock, and Jason Scott & the High Heat.
