Co-Conspirator sentenced to 57 Months for Cocaine Trafficking

United States Attorney Sherri A. Lydon stated Friday, Oct. 19, that 45-year-old Alonzo Anderson of Greenville was sentenced in federal court in Greenville, for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine. United States District Judge Timothy M. Cain, of Anderson, sentenced Anderson to 57 months imprisonment and three years of supervised release. Evidence presented at the change of plea hearing established that Anderson conspired with others, in Greenville County, South Carolina, to coordinate the international distribution of quantities of cocaine. The case was investigated by ICE – Homeland Security Investigations. Assistant United States Attorney D. Josev Brewer of the Greenville office handled the case.
