Community Tree’s Annual Thanksgiving Food Box Giveaway
Community Tree’s annual Thanksgiving food box giveaway is set for this Saturday, November 15, 2025, beginning at 8:30 a.m. until supplies run out, at Ann Hope Church, 702 Goddard Avenue in Seneca, with vehicles entering via the Jameson Avenue side of the parking lot.
Each vehicle will receive two boxes of non-perishable items including canned goods, pasta, and rice, along with a special protein—turkey, ham, or whole chicken—distributed on a first-come, first-served basis under strict guidelines: one box per vehicle, one family per vehicle, one pass through the line only, and a person must be present to receive the box.
Led by Charles Mulwee, the nonprofit’s director and an Oconee County Sheriff’s Office sergeant, the event supports local families amid reduced SNAP access, with up to 150 vehicles expected: contact [email protected] or Sgt. Charles Mulwee for details.
