Coroner identifies Man killed in Motorcycle Crash

Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley has identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash near Easley that injured four other people. Around 6:30pm Sunday, the South Carolina Highway Patrol reports that 24-year-old Jakob Hamby of Greenville was trying to pass a car on Fish Trap Road. That is when his motorcycle was hit by a car traveling in the opposite direction. Hamby was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at Greenville Memorial Hospital. A passenger on the motorcycle and three people in the second car were injured and taken to area hospitals.
