Deadline Approaching To Submit Items For Sesquicentennial Time Capsule Ceremony
(Seneca, SC)——————-Oconee County will be wrapping up its celebration of its 150th birthday with a Sesquicentennial Time Capsule Ceremony next Monday, January 28th from 4pm until 6:30pm at the Oconee History Museum in Walhalla. The ceremony is being sponsored by Duke Energy. As part of this ceremony, anyone who would like to submit an item for the 100 year capsule can do so by bringing the item by the Museum and filling out a Time Capsule Donation Form.
The deadline to submit an item is tomorrow at 5pm.
Leslie Hagerty, who is the Director/Curator for the Museum, will comment during the news in the 2pm hour today on what items the History Museum is looking for.
