DHEC COVID-19 Numbers Update

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) announced 619 new confirmed cases and 20 new probable cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, 12 additional confirmed deaths and no new probable deaths.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 146,576, probable cases to 5,006, confirmed deaths to 3,255, and 198 probable deaths.

29 new cases and two deaths were confirmed in Anderson County; Pickens County added 38 new cases yesterday and there were 65 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 here in Oconee County.

In the school district of Oconee County there have been over fifty cases confirmed positive since school began.
