DHEC COVID-19 Numbers Update for Monday

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) announced 1,226 new confirmed cases and three new probable cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, 17 additional confirmed deaths and no new probable deaths. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 82,071 probable cases to 346, confirmed deaths to 1,452, and 54 probable deaths. On Monday, Oconee County had 15 new cases, Pickens had 25 and Anderson had 58. Out of the total deaths reported on Monday, two were elderly patients from Anderson, while one elderly patient who died was from Pickens County.
