DISPLACED DEMOCRATS RE-LOCATE HEADQUARTERS

Oconee County Democrats have secured new office headquarters in Walhalla, on S. College Street, and will host a grand opening Saturday, February 22, details for which are to be announced within the week. A new restaurant coming to Seneca’s N. Townville Street has displaced the county party. Democrat Linda Holt said, “The timing of this move wasn’t optimal as the party has been busy preparing for the Presidential Preference Primary on February 29th. However, we are excited to see the re-development in Seneca and we are pleased with the renovated building that is housing our new office in Walhalla. Seeing the towns in our county re-purposing the old buildings and rejuvenating opportunities for people in jobs, housing, shopping, and dining is exciting and is certainly something that the Democrats are in favor of.”
