Downtown Seneca Pharmacy closing

A sing covers the windows of Sammeth’s Drug Company on North Townville Street in downtown Seneca notify customers that the pharmacy has closed. The closing of the downtown business comes as a surprise to locals. As store shelves are emptied this afternoon, a sign left by the store’s management is referring those with prescriptions and other store accounts to CVS Pharmacy at Ingle’s Place. The decision to close was sudden and owner, Michael McGaha, said he plans to make an official announcement on Monday regarding the reasons behind the closing.
