Dr. Blackwell named New Principal of West-Oak High School
At the regular meeting on Jan. 16, the Board of Trustees for the School District of Oconee County (SDOC) accepted the recommendation of Dr. Brandon Blackwell as the new principal of West-Oak High School. The effective date of this appointment is July 1, 2018. Dr. Blackwell will be replacing Kurt Kreuzberger who will retire at the end of the 2017-18 school year. He has 14 years of experience as a teacher and administrator and is currently the Principal at West-Oak Middle School. Dr. Blackwell holds a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and doctorate degree all from Clemson University. “It is an honor and a privilege to be given the opportunity to serve as the Principal of West-Oak High School and I am excited about the possibilities as we partner with West-Oak Middle School and our three elementary schools to best serve our students throughout their formative years. I look forward to working with the West-Oak High School faculty, students, and our entire West-Oak community in order to ensure that our future is bright,” said Dr. Blackwell.
