Duncan cancels speeches in OC

U.S. Congressman Jeff Duncan was forced to cancel his speaking engagements in Oconee County today, returning instead to the nation’s capital to fight Obamacare.  Congressman Duncan said that his support of House action reflects feedback he and his office are getting from across the Third District from those who oppose the changes that the Affordable Care Act are bringing. However, he expressed uncertainty as to how the Republican-controlled House sentiments will fare in the Senate, where Democrats enjoy a majority.  The Congressman was scheduled to speak at two events in Oconee County today; he regrets having to cancel but said he plans to return soon.
