Durham Reinstated to Oconee County Council

Oconee County councilmember Matthew Durham has been reinstated by Governor Henry McMaster after charges against him for domestic violence and unlawful neglect of a child were dismissed Wednesday. McMaster rescinded his previous order suspending Durham and allowed him to return to office in an executive order issued on Thursday. Durham represents district 2 in Oconee County and ran unopposed in the 2020 general election.
