Easley Man killed during chase with Troopers
An Easley man died after his car crashed following a chase with the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office says 22-year-old Josiah Terry died when the car he was driving crashed on Page Drive in the early morning hours on Friday. The Highway Patrol reports that a trooper observed Terry speeding on SC 124 while driving a 2000 Lexus. The Highway Patrol said he would not stop, driving from Pickens County into Greenville County. He crashed after turning onto Page Drive. His car damaged a bridge and landed on railroad tracks below the road. Troopers said that Terry was not wearing a seat belt and was found dead inside the car after the crash.
