Elliott announces Candidacy for OC Council

John Elliott announces his candidacy for Seat One on the Oconee County Council. As a lifelong South Carolinian, licensed Certified Public Accountant, Company Controller, and Oconee County resident, Elliott feels he is the right person for the position. “I believe our residents and taxpayers are entitled to stronger, more effective leadership. It is also apparent that we need better planning for our future and serious team building. I am committed to working with the entire Council and Staff to ensure that these goals are consistently achieved both for today and future generations. Please visit www.johnelliottd1.org for more personal information or email me at [email protected]. I look forward to meeting with you and ensuring that we share the same expectations for where this very special community can and should be headed.” Elliott has filed the necessary paperwork and will be a candidate in the June 12, Republican Primary. Seat One on the Oconee County Council is currently held by Edda Cammick, the council chairwoman.
