2018 OC Veterans Day Parade

The Oconee County Veterans Council has set the date and time for the 2018 Oconee County Veterans Day Parade. The event is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at 3pm through downtown Walhalla. Civic groups, church groups, veterans organizations, businesses, industries, school groups, individuals and families who would like to make a banner and participate in the parade this year should contact the Oconee County Veterans Affairs Office at 864-638-4231. Make your intentions known to that office and you’ll have a place reserved in the parade lineup. Parade entries will line up on South Church Street between the Lutheran Church and the old courthouse. Participants should be at the parade site by 2pm. The parade will end around the parking lot of the Walhalla First Baptist Church.
