Anderson Mall to present Barbecue and Bluegrass Fest

Anderson Mall will host Barbecue and Bluegrass, a food truck festival featuring live music from Cane Creek Blue Grass Band on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at 5pm. Foodies will have the opportunity to enjoy an array of locally sourced fares from area food truck vendors, as well as a variety of yard games, live football viewing, bounce houses, and more. Local artist Jamie Hansen will be doing a live painting with a bluegrass influence as a part of Anderson Mall’s ongoing Canvas Project Series. “With the growing popularity of food trucks, Anderson Mall is well-positioned to host this culinary event,” said Michelle Adkins, General Manager at Anderson Mall. “As the central gathering place for the community, we are excited to present this savory opportunity that will allow friends and family to spend time together.” Attendees will enjoy a variety of culinary offerings deliciously prepared by the Upstate’s celebrated food truck chefs. Food truck attendance is subject to change. The first 50 attendees will receive a free voucher valued at $10. Anderson Mall’s Barbecue and Bluegrass Food Truck Fest will take place in the parking lot adjacent to Main Street on Sept. 22, 2018, from 5-9pm.
