Blue Ribbon Birthday Bash

Pickens County announces a once in a lifetime celebration in honor of the sesquicentennial anniversary with the Blue Ribbon Birthday Bash at the J.B. “Red” Owens Complex in Easley on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, from 9am to 8pm. The Blue Ribbon Birthday Bash will feature competitions like the best beard competition, a bake off competition and a BBQ cook-off. Entertainment includes the Swingin’ Medallions, Anna Leigh Band, Luke Smith & Band, Young Appalachian Musicians and Pickens County’s Got Talent, which will be the grand finale for the night. The winners will receive over $5,000 in cash and prizes. In addition, the top 5 competitors will be given golden tickets for the next season of America’s Got Talent with front of the line passes. Topping off the night, will be one of the largest fireworks shows Pickens County has ever seen sponsored by the City of Easley.
