Candidates Forum for SC House of Reps from AC

The League of Women Voters of the Clemson Area are sponsoring a candidates forum for South Carolina House of Representatives serving Anderson County. Those are Ryan Cowsert and Rick Freemantle for District 6; Jay West and Ted Grindstaff for District 7; and Jonathan Hill for District 8. The forum takes place on Tuesday, June 5, from 7-8:30pm at the Westside Community Center, 1100 West Franklin Street in Anderson. The public is invited to attend. The forum gives candidates an opportunity to present themselves to the public and give voters an opportunity to ask questions of the candidates. This forum is sponsored by The League of Women Voters of the Clemson Area, which is a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
