DHEC Public Hearing on Boat Docks

A public hearing is scheduled for a boat dock project request on Lake Keowee. The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) has reserved the meeting room of the Walhalla Library for 6pm on June 26, to hear public comment on plans by the Timber Bay Property Owners Association to construct four, 14-slip community docks with a total of 56 slips, for off-water property owners of the Timber Bay Community. The lake community is about one-half mile from Vickery Road and Keowee School Road.
