Forum for Primary Candidates for PC Council

The League of Women Voters of the Clemson Area announces a forum for Primary Candidates running for seats on the Pickens County Council is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22, from 7-8:30pm in Rooms B and C of the Clemson-Central Regional Branch Library at 105 Commons Way in Central. Candidates running for District 1 are Ensley Feemster and Margaret Thompson and candidates vying for District 2 are Trey Whitehurst and Robert McKinney. The public is invited to attend. The forum gives candidates an opportunity to present themselves to the public and give voters an opportunity to ask questions of the candidates. The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
