Groundbreaking on New Facility for Foothills Area YMCA

Work has begun on a new facility for the Foothills Area YMCA. Phase 1 of the new YMCA facility will be 31,000 square feet with an indoor pool, fitness center, group fitness rooms, cycle studio, youth sports fields and child watch area. “This facility will be a place for the community to come together. The YMCA will bring programs that build and strengthen children, families, adults and seniors. It will truly be a place for everyone,” said Christle Ross, Foothills YMCA Executive Director. A ground-breaking ceremony will be held on the property on Oct. 22, at 4:30pm and everyone is invited to attend.
