Lunch and Learn at OHC on Equine Therapy

On Thursday, April 10, at 12:30pm, bring your lunch and learn about equine therapy at the Oconee Heritage Center (OHC). Representatives of Wild Hearts Equine Therapy will explain all about the benefits of this unique therapy. The Wild Hearts Equine Therapeutic Center, Inc. is a local non-profit organization that facilitates equine therapy for people of all ages with physical, intellectual and emotional disabilities. They will discuss the need for equine therapy in Oconee County, why equine therapy works better than most other therapies, growth since its inception in 2015, statistics on their client base, partners and community outreach initiatives. Last, but certainly not least, they will also share real-life client successes. This is a free program at the OHC, which is located at 123 Brown’s Square Drive in Walhalla.
