Lunch and Learn on 150 Years of Education in OC

Celebrate the sesquicentennial by taking a look back at education in Oconee County. Bring your lunch and learn on Tuesday, Aug. 14, from noon to 1pm at the Oconee Heritage Center (OHC). Join Director and Curator Leslie Hagerty as she explores the history of education in Oconee County. From one-room school houses to high school memories, you will enjoy a look back at how education has changed in Oconee County over the past 150 years. The event is free and takes place at the OHC, which is located at 123 Brown’s Square Drive in downtown Walhalla.
