March for Babies in Seneca on Saturday

Oconee County families, businesses and volunteers dedicated to the fight for the health of all moms and babies take part in this year’s March for Babies, the largest annual fundraising event for March of Dimes this Saturday, May 5, on GHS’s Oconee Memorial Hospital campus, 298 Memorial Drive in Seneca. Registration and the turn in of funds is at 8:30am with the three-mile walk starting at 9am. Kellie Boone of KOYO is serving as the 2018 Chairperson. March for Babies is a day to celebrate and honor babies. Funds raised help March of Dimes fund research and community programs for healthy moms and strong babies. There will be a dj, free hotdog lunch, Kona Shaved Ice, Country Cornhole, face painting, Super Hero Sprint and, of course, tacos. For more information, visit www.marchforbabies.org.
