OC Chamber hosting “Let’s Talk”

On Friday, Nov. 9, the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce hosts “let’s Talk”, which is a group discussion on the topic of the month, “Being Intentional”, explains Oconee County Chamber Executive Director Vanessa Penton. “This is a peer-driven learning initiative, so we are depending on each to be prepared to share insights of value. So, we want you to be prepared to share your insight through your experience on the topic of the month. Come ready to share your thoughts on “Being Intentional” as a business leader. In addition, be prepared to practice active listening by really digesting what is offered by others rather than thinking of your response while hearing the opinion of others. Being intentional means you are purposeful in word and action. It means you live a life that is meaningful and fulfilling to you. It means you make thoughtful choices in your life. Being intentional means you actively interact and engage with your life. In addition, being intentional with building your business means you pro-actively seek to shape your situation rather than being a reactive leader. This is free to our members, but space is limited. Registration is required, so call 864-882-2097.” The 8:30am program takes place in the Oconee Chamber of Commerce Training Room at 2 Leas Courtyard Drive in Seneca.
