OC Council Special Meeting

The Oconee County Council holds a Special Meeting on May 8, at 6pm immediately following the Budget, Finance, and Administration Committee meeting, which is scheduled for 5:30pm. According to the agenda, the council will convene into executive session in order to discuss personnel matters relating to the resignation of the County Administrator and the appointment of an Interim Administrator. In addition, the council will hold a discussion regarding granting the Council Chair authority to execute the resignation agreement between Oconee County and outgoing County Administrator Scott Moulder and discuss and appoint an Interim County Administrator. Upon reconvening, council may take action on matters brought up for discussion in executive session. The meeting takes place in Council Chambers of the Oconee County Administrative Offices at 415 South Pine Street in Walhalla. The public is invited to attend the meeting; however, an opportunity for public comment will not be offered at this meeting.
