OHC hosting Movie at the Museum

See Deliverance at 7pm on Friday, July 27, at the Oconee Heritage Center (OHC). This film stars Jon Voight and Burt Reynolds and is rated R. Intent on seeing the Cahulawassee River before it’s turned into one huge lake, outdoor fanatic Lewis Medlock takes his friends on a river-rafting trip they’ll never forget into the dangerous American back-country. Deliverance was filmed in Oconee County along the Chattooga River and scenes were filmed during the construction of Lakes Keowee and Jocassee. After the film, the OHC will discuss how Deliverance has affected Oconee County. Free popcorn and drinks will be available. The OHC is located at 123 Brown’s Square Drive in downtown Walhalla.
