Old Keowee Contra Dance

An Old Keowee Contra Dance is planned for Friday, Oct. 19, from 6:30-10pm at South Cove County Park. A beginners’ intro class is set for 6:30pm followed by the dance from 7-10pm. This features contra, folk, and square dancing on a wood-floored lakeside dance hall as well as a caller with a live fiddle band. The cost is $8 per person with proceeds benefiting the Oconee Heritage Center. Kids 12 and under are free and there will be free park admission.
