SDOC Board Meeting

The Board of Trustees for the School District of Oconee County (SDOC) holds their regular monthly meeting on Monday, Aug. 13, at 6:30pm. According to the agenda, the board will discuss a request for additional local board approved course, a bond resolution, the July financial report and dual enrollment with Truett McConnell University. In addition, the board will consider a name for the new Career Center. Second readings on a policy concerning grading and assessment systems administrative rule, a policy dealing with the content and credit recovery administrative rule, employability credential and employability credential administrative rule are also scheduled. The meeting is open to the public and takes place at West-Oak High School, which is located at 130 Warrior Lane in Westminster.
