Shark Week Movie Marathon

For one week every summer the world becomes obsessed with sharks thanks to The Discovery Channel’s annual Shark Week programming. Since its debut on July 17, 1988, Shark Week has grown in popularity and has become one of the most anticipated events of the summer. In celebration of Shark Week’s 30th anniversary, the Westminster Branch of the Oconee County Public Library (OCPL) is hosting a full day of great shark movies on Monday, July 16. The marathon starts off with The Shallows at 2pm, followed by the animated Shark Tale at 4pm. The day will conclude with the classic Jaws at 6pm. Free popcorn and drinks will be served.
