Oconee Humane Society Hosts Shelter Super Saturday

Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Oconee Humane Society and Oconee County Animal Control and Seneca Animal Hospital team up for Shelter Super Saturday at 1925 Sandifer Blvd in Seneca. Get $10 rabies shots, $20 microchips and $25 spay/neuter certificates.
The certificates are restricted to Oconee County residents. People should bring their dogs or cats in carriers or on leashes for the shots and microchips. The spay/neuter certificates can be picked up and redeemed at any of six vets in the Oconee County area and are good for six months from date of purchase.
Pet adoptions will also be an incredible value at $10 per dog or cat to qualified adopters. The adoptable pets are all spayed or neutered, microchipped and have age-appropriate shots.
Foothills Community Church is supporting the day by cooking up free hotdogs and hamburgers to the first 300 people stopping by between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. There will be pet apparel giveaways and more. Check out the adoptable pets at oconeehumane.org
