SHS Students presents Fields of Faith

The Seneca High School (SHS) Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) will present and host Fields of Faith at Coach Tom Bass Field on Oct. 10, 2018 at 7pm. Fields of Faith is a student-led event, which is scheduled nationally on the second Wednesday in October each year. Students challenge their peers to read their Bibles and follow Jesus Christ. The SHS JROTC will present the colors. The FCA praise band, which consists of Jordan Auffhammer, Jason Vaughn, Dera Holbrooks, Cameron Sluder, and John Broom, will lead the music for the event. The following SHS student-athletes will share their testimonies and what God is doing in their lives: Deandra Martin (volleyball, girls soccer), Sam Dodd (boys cross country, boys track and field), Caroline Crowe (cheer, girls basketball), Chad Brewer (football, wrestling), Anne-Hamilton LeRoy (girls basketball, girls golf), and Jalen Wilkerson (football). Coach Brett Turner, teacher, assistant football coach and Associate Pastor at New Hope Baptist Church, will be the final speaker of the evening. This will be a great evening of inspiration, encouragement, and fellowship. The event is free and open to the community.
