Toys for Tots Parade

Jeeps and motorcycles roll through the City of Walhalla this evening from 6:20 to 7pm as part of a fundraiser for Toys for Tots. Sponsored by the Marine Corps Reserves, the program buys toys for parents who can’t afford Christmas gifts for their children. Participants should bring a new, unwrapped toy. Stuffed animals will not be accepted. The jeeps and motorcycles will start out from the VFW Club on Highlands Highway and follow a route similar to the Walhalla Christmas Parade, through the downtown and ending at John Street. The Walhalla Police Department will direct traffic. Be advised that the Walhalla Police Department will be closing down the south side of Main Street and intersecting streets from 6:20 to 7pm for the parade.
