Everyone invited to Halloween on the Green Tonight

Everyone is invited to Norton-Thompson Park in downtown Seneca for Halloween on the Green. This is a free event and a safe alternative to the traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating, says Seneca Mayor Dan Alexander. “It does get bigger and better every year. This is another opportunity for different people to come out and be a part of Halloween throughout the community. Every that has grown as different people have wanted to be a part of it. We give out a lot of candy. I always like to see all the costumes and the excitement in little kids’ eyes. It’s all about letting kids have a good time in a safe place.” The City of Seneca presents Halloween on the Green tonight, Oct. 31, from 5-8:30pm at Norton-Thompson Park. There will be a costume contest, free hot dogs, candy and more from Mayor Alexander and members of the Seneca City Council. There will also be pumpkin painting for the kids. So, bring the family to Norton-Thompson Park in downtown Seneca to celebrate Halloween tonight.
