Extras needed for Movie

As a feature film prepares to shoot in the City of Seneca, a call is going out for extras.   Later this month, ‘Elbow Grease’ a romantic comedy set in a small town begins shooting throughout Oconee County and on Monday, October 7th Ram Cat Alley in downtown Seneca will be the backdrop for a street festival scene, explains ‘Elbow Grease’ co-producer Matt Zboyovski.  “Monday, October 7th, we’re going to be on Ram Cat Alley hosting the ‘Guppie Festival’, which is a fictional scene in the movie.  We are inviting people out to be extras in the movie.  Therefore, we are very excited about that, we have had an amazing amount of support in order to get that done.  Seneca has been just awesome to us.  So, Monday, October 7th [email protected], if you want to come hang out with us and be a part of the movie, please send us your information and we will be in touch.” Between 200 and 250 extras are needed. The movie is also looking for business to get involved, adds Zboyovski.  “We will have a number of booths that will be available to set up, so same thing if business will send their information to [email protected] that would be the best place to go.  If they just send their information we will return with contact information.” Elbow Grease is also looking for businesses to help sponsor other scenes of the movie and assist in filming over the next 30-60 days, concludes Zboyovski.  “The Ram Cat Alley scene is a big part of the movie but that is one day of a bunch of days that we are going to be here.  We are an Indy Movie and we cannot make a movie like this without a lot of help.  Not just from the city but from friends, family and the community.  Therefore, same thing send us information, there are advertising opportunities, and other big set piece scenes besides the festival that we are going to be having.  Please if you are a restaurant or any other business that is curious or interested please send us information at [email protected].” Crews will film scenes around Lake Keowee and Seneca beginning September 30 and the crew could be in town for at least two to three months.
