Firefighters praised by Seneca City Council

The quick suppression of a weekend fire in the Bountyland community drew praise from the Seneca City Council last night, tells Mayor Dan Alexander. “What was neat last night, the A shift, which they were on duty last night, all the firefighters actually came to the meeting last night and so that was neat I don’t know if I have seen that done before. But Chief Richie Caudill has really gotten the department out in the community and they have been involved in lots of different things. They had an extremely busy weekend, up in the Bountyland area there was a major fire there where the storage buildings are. It did lots of damage up there, but thank goodness nobody was hurt there. But I just really do appreciate everything they are doing. I appreciate the chief coming in here and working with this department.” The Seneca Fire Department extinguished the fire after it damaged 12 units at the storage complex on Industrial Park Drive.
