Foothills Area YMCA building What Matters

Last night, July 26, a large crowd attended the Foothills Area YMCA kickoff reception for “Building What Matters”, tells Foothills Area YMCA CEO Christle Ross. “Last night was great, it was the kickoff of our capital campaign. We’ve been in a silent phase and been working to raise money. Our goal originally was $1.5 million and we are currently at $1.4 million, so last night we announced that our goal is to hit the $2 million mark, which will just help us get phase one completed and get even closer to being able to start phase two at some point. So, we are real excited about where we are and are now kind of open to the community side and so you will be hearing more about what the Y is doing and there will be more information about the campaign out and available. So, if anyone would like to participate, visit our website at www.foothillsymca.net or give us a call at our branch. We would love to talk to you and be able to share what is going on at the Y.” The event was held at the Lighthouse Restaurant in Seneca.
