Foothills Area YMCA Holds 125th Anniversary Celebration Last Night
(Seneca, SC)———Last night, the Foothills Area YMCA celebrated their 125th Anniversary with an event at Holtzendorff Hall on the Clemson University Campus.
In 1916, Holtzendorff Hall became the home of the YMCA and in the 1970’s, the YMCA moved many of its programs to the Y Barn that was located at the Snow Family Outdoor Fitness and Wellness Center.
The event last night also looked forward to the opening of the brand new 33,000 square foot facility that scheduled to open next year. The new facility is expected to create up to 50 full and part time jobs.
