Free Christmas Trees for Veterans

Oconee County Veterans Affairs Director Jerry Dyar has announced that the Veterans Affairs Office, in partnership with Upstate Warriors Solution is going to make some local veterans’ families a little happier this Christmas season.

Dyar said, “We are making 25 beautiful Christmas trees, complete with stand, lights and ornaments available to the first 25 veterans who call our office and express interest in getting one of the special trees. We are delighted to partner with our friends from Upstate Warriors Solution in this festive holiday event. If you would like to get your name on the list for one of the trees all you need do is call our office Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm.

The first 25 veterans who call the VA Office at 864-638-4231 will get one of these very special Christmas trees. On behalf of Tim Conrad, Upstate Warriors Solution and the Oconee County Veterans Affairs Office, we wish all of our wonderful veterans and their families a very Merry Christmas season.
