Free FAFSA Workshop at SHS

There will be a free FAFSA workshop at Seneca High School (SHS) this evening. It is recommended that every students planning to go to college complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, tells SHS Guidance Director Karen Trammell. “Every student going to college really should complete the FAFSA. Don’t ever pay anybody to help you do that. We will have a workshop at Seneca High School on Monday, Oct. 16, at 6pm and we will have people from the local TRIO Program here who are FAFSA experts who will come in and help parents complete that on the spot. It’s open to anyone in the county or surrounding area that would like to come. We ask that the parent and student come because both have to fill out a portion of the FAFSA.” Attendees need to bring their 2016 tax information with them to the free FAFSA workshop.
