Gas Price Averages Continue to show Decline Across South Carolina, According to AAA Carolinas

(Seneca, SC)———Gas prices are continuing to show a decrease across South Carolina, even with an unseasonal spike in demand, according to AAA Carolinas.

The average price for a gallon of gas in South Carolina is $2.24 a gallon, which is down four cents on the week and down 35 cents on the year. Gas price averages are up a penny on the month, however.

A spokesperson for the organization expects the downward trend in prices to continue, barring any major industry or geopolitical events.

In Greenville, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.20 a gallon.
