Gas Price Averages In South Carolina Lower Than Last Week, According To AAA Carolinas

(Seneca, SC)———Gas prices fell in the Palmetto State last week and gas price averages are still lower than they were at this same time last year.
AAA Carolinas is reporting the average price for a gallon of gasoline in South Carolina stands at $2.45 a gallon, which is three cents less than last week and nine cents less than this time last year. However, gas prices averages in the state are 21 cents more than last month.
According to AAA Carolinas, gasoline stocks remain strong amid a dip in gasoline demand which could be reasons for the decline in price.
The average price for a gallon of gasoline nationwide is $2.76 a gallon, which is three cents less than last week across the country.
