Gasoline Prices Up Again

It will cost more at the pump today than yesterday.  The U.S. Energy Information Administration is out with the latest figures on the price for gasoline and the cost has gone up, explains Amerine Woodyard.  “The U.S. average retail price for regular gasoline rose to $3.36 a gallon on Monday. That is up 4.2 cents from a week ago, based on the weekly price survey by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. For the second week in a row, pump prices were highest in the West Coast at 3.55 a gallon, up 4.2 cents from a week ago. Prices were lowest in the Rocky Mountain States at 2.98 a gallon, up 10.1 cents marking the greatest regional increase this week.” The average price for a gallon of regular grade gasoline in South Carolina is $3.17.
