Girl Scout Day Camp: “Life in the 1800s”

On Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, the Agricultural Museum of South Carolina is offering a Girl Scout “Life in the 1800s” Day Camp (Junior and Cadette only). Camp runs from 10am until 3pm and costs $25 per Girl Scout. This price includes the Playing in the Past Badge for qualifying Junior Scouts. This Day Camp’s activities include, but are not limited to: learning about Native American culture; making 19th Century toys; taking lessons in a one-room school house; learning to weave; doing farm chores; learning to care for farm animals; and touring Woodburn Plantation. Regular museum hours are: Tuesday through Friday, noon until 5pm, and Saturday, 10am until 3pm. Admission is free, though donations are greatly appreciated.
